The outputs of this study aim to contribute to rationalizing the discussion on the costs of hydrogen production by electrolysis under Czech conditions, among other things to point out the risk that the Czech Republic will not be competitive in the use of renewable hydrogen if there is no effective support for decentralised (local) hydrogen production, which will bridge the period until the emergence of a pan-European production and distribution infrastructure.
⚪︎ The current status of gulation at EU level on the definition of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen
⚪︎ The technological structure of the hydrogen value chain
⚪︎ The cost of hydrogen production in the Czech Republic for different solutions for the use of electricity from renewable sources (stable and intermittent)
⚪︎ Possibilities for the use of the electrolyser within the ancillary services
⚪︎ Scenarios of possible development of hydrogen production from renewable sources in the Czech Republic
