Electromobility in Prague: Learning from Europe’s Best Practices and Outlining an Action Plan

The goal of the project is to prepare a study that offers a comprehensive view of the future of electromobility in Prague. The aim is to create a practical and accessible foundation for planning the development of clean mobility in the city, intended for municipal authorities as well as both professional and general audiences.

⚪︎ Overview of electromobility in Prague, available infrastructure, and overview of current and planned municipal projects.
⚪︎ Projections of electrification for personal vehicles, taxis, and delivery vehicles in three scenarios, assessment and categorization of charging needs.
⚪︎ Review of health effects of local air pollution. Estimated reductions in PM and NOₓ emissions with the shift to electromobility.
⚪︎ Best practices from European cities.
⚪︎ Proposal of nine measures to support electromobility in Prague. These measures could serve as a basis when building an action plan.
