Public charging infrastructure development plan for the Czech Republic

The aim of the project was to prepare a long-term investment strategy for the development of the public charging network in the Czech Republic. The contract also involved proposing a method for scoring sites for the purposes of (i) prioritisation of development and (ii) the market valuation of individual sites and existing portfolios. The contents in brief:

 Forecast of the development of the electromobility market

Preparation of an investment strategy for the development of the public charging infrastructure  

Estimate of the development of the future charging infrastructure market value based on site scoring

 The construction of a dynamic valuation model for scoring individual sites/portfolio of sites

Forecast of the demand for public charging and its geographical distribution (illustrated by heat maps) 

ČEZ is currently building and running the largest public electric car charging network in the Czech Republic. There were just a few thousand electric cars in the Czech Republic in 2018. By 2030, there will be hundreds of thousands. Regular reviews of the infrastructure investment strategy are key within the context of this dynamics. We are delighted that ČEZ is supporting further investments in building its charging network according to the strategy in place
