electromobility
Strategy for the development of public charging infrastructure in Prague (feasibility study)
- Year
- 2020
- Client
- OICT
The feasibility study was the basis for the General Development of Charging Infrastructure prepared by the ICT Operator (OICT) for the Capital City of Prague (HMP). The aim of the study was to develop projections of the development of electromobility in Prague until 2030 and to propose a way of involving the city in the public parking charging infrastructure development. The contents in brief:
Scenarios of electromobility development in Prague
Projections of the required number of charging points of various types for public charging
Financial model of public recharging
A variant proposal of the city’s approach to the development of parking charging
Proposal of measures, organization and further action
The capital city of Prague has long declared a positive attitude towards electromobility. The examples of foreign metropolises show that the development of public charging is one of the key topics where the city can effectively help. We believe that the study and the related General Charging Infrastructure will help start the construction of parking charging and eliminate one of the main barriers to the development of electromobility in Prague.
