The growth analysis built on the existing outputs of Mapa příležitostí. The aim was to develop projections for the growth of relevant markets and use them to derive projections for the growth of clean tech product exports for 2030. An overview of the largest clean tech products and their future export potential was also created for the analysis.
⚪︎ Clean tech exports could account for 34% of total Czech exports in 2030, up from 21% in 2023.
⚪︎ Czechia has caught up with the rise of electromobility in the field of car manufacturing, and now it is a matter of maintaining and strengthening this position. We expect growth in exports of Czech electric cars and key e-components by 2030.
⚪︎ Growth of electric cars and e-components is supported by new investments and European demand, but it is threatened by the slow start of demand for BEVs and competition from China.
⚪︎ We expect growth in the electric grid and components segment associated with increased investment in transmission and distribution networks, particularly in Europe.
⚪︎ Investment in strengthening and modernizing networks is one of the main tools for the transition to a low-carbon economy.
